Part Time Chef, Dad and the Frog, Surry Hills

2x Casual Roles, 24 hours per week.

Weekends required. Experience essential.

Paid under the Restaurant Industry Award [TFN only]

Level 2 Cook Grade 1 position available

Level 3 Cook Grade 2 position available

Dad and the Frog is an award-winning cafe on Fitzroy Street, Surry Hills. Sydney City Cafe of the Year 2025. We are a tight team and we are looking for 2 more breakfast chefs who want to be part of it.

What the role looks like:

  • Breakfast cooking and service
  • Prep
  • Cleaning as you go and at close
  • Maintaining equipment in good working order
  • Food safety and hygiene practised properly, every shift

Who you are:

  • An experienced chef, cafe breakfast service experience a big plus
  • Someone with high standards who wants to keep raising them
  • Open to feedback, open to learning, and comfortable giving feedback too
  • Available on weekends, no exceptions
