About the role
The Records Management Business Partner connects business areas, the Records Management Team and executives to support compliance and manage records-related risks. The role understands operational needs, analyses practices against requirements, and develops solutions to improve records management processes, systems and outcomes.



The position builds stakeholder relationships, advocates user needs, resolves complex issues, supports policies and strategies, delivers engagement and training activities, and manages small projects. It maintains expertise in records management tools while promoting safe, inclusive and flexible ways of working.

  • Applies expertise in records management, regulatory compliance and governance to provide advice, manage risks and support audit requirements.

Qualifications and experience

You’ll bring:

  • Foundational knowledge of the Public Records Act 1973 and relevant Public Record Office Victoria standards (mandatory).
  • Qualifications or equivalent industry experience in information management, records management or information systems/technology (desirable).
  • Experience using SharePoint, RecordPoint/Records365, Content Manager and project management practices (desirable).

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
