About the role

The Manager Regional Services leads business support and helps coordinate key services across regional Victoria. The role supports emergency management and recovery, workplace safety, stakeholder engagement and partnerships with Aboriginal organisations. They work closely with regional leaders, teams, communities, stakeholders and service partners to ensure work is well planned, coordinated and delivered effectively.

The role also leads and supports the business support team, fostering a safe, inclusive and positive workplace. Success means strong emergency response and recovery, effective stakeholder relationships, quality business support, engaged teams and meaningful partnerships with Aboriginal organisations.

You’re someone who:

• Can lead continuous improvement and find better ways of working to improve quality and outcomes.

• Can lead people through change, clearly explaining what is changing, why it matters and supporting teams through uncertainty.
• Can communicate with confidence and impact, including when handling difficult or sensitive conversations.
• Builds collaborative and inclusive teams, encourages different perspectives, works well with others and builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience

You’ll bring:

• Emergency management or safety experience.
• General management experience.
• A Drivers Licence. (Mandatory)

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
