If you love the buzz of a busy venue, enjoy developing high-performing teams, and are committed to delivering exceptional service, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for an exceptional Duty Manager to join our leadership team and help deliver outstanding experiences for our members and guests.

About the Role

As a Duty Manager, you'll be the face of operational excellence. You'll inspire your team, support every department, solve challenges as they arise, and ensure our venue operates smoothly from open to close.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences, and leads by example.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading daily operations across gaming, bar, café, bistro, bowls, and functions.
  • Inspiring, coaching, and developing a passionate hospitality team.
  • Creating an outstanding experience for every member and guest.
  • Ensuring compliance with gaming, liquor, RSA, RSG, and WHS.
  • Overseeing gaming operations, cash handling, reconciliations, and venue security.
  • Supporting bowls competitions, community events, and special functions.
  • Maintaining exceptional venue presentation and service standards.
  • Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and care.
  • Working closely with the management team to drive continuous improvement and operational success

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Previous experience as a Duty Manager or Supervisor within a licensed club, hotel, or hospitality venue.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of gaming operations and Queensland gaming legislation.
  • Experience managing food and beverage operations.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining exceptional customer service.
  • Competent computer skills and experience with point-of-sale and gaming systems.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Early closes!

Why Join Us?

This is your opportunity to become part of a welcoming, community-focused club where people come together to celebrate, socialise, and create lasting memories.

We offer:

  • A supportive leadership team and direct one on one coaching from experienced senior management.
  • Love hospitality without the late nights – enjoy a rotating roster and early finishes.
  • Opportunities for training and career development.
  • A diverse and exciting workplace where no two days are the same.
  • Work with a supportive leadership team that values your ideas and contribution
  • Competitive remuneration based on experience.
  • Free on shift duty meals.

If you're ready to take the next step in your hospitality career and lead a venue that's buzzing with energy, community spirit, and opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

  • Employee discount
  • Employee mentoring program
  • Free food
