Restaurant Manager

Amuni Coogee is now hiring: 1 Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a skilled and reliable applicant to join our team full-time.

Restaurant Manager

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and report directly to the owner on business performance and operational matters.
  • Coordinate menu planning and development in consultation with chefs, taking into account customer preferences, seasonal availability, and business objectives.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage inventory records, and coordinate the procurement of food, beverages, and other supplies from approved suppliers.
  • Assist in budget management by monitoring revenue, expenses, and operational costs, and provide regular reports to the owner.
  • Supervise staff performance and customer service standards to ensure efficient restaurant operations and a positive dining experience.
  • Recruit, train, roster, and manage restaurant staff, including conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace procedures, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards across all areas of the venue.
  • Address customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor the presentation and cleanliness of the venue to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Skills and experience: 

  • Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
  • Good attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent leadership, organisational, and customer service skills.

Position: Full Time (at least 38 hours per week)

Salary range: $75,000 – $85,000 per year
