Full job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, utensils, pots and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling and cutting ingredients.
  • Restock kitchen supplies and organise storage areas.
  • Dispose of rubbish and recycling appropriately.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are followed.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Support the kitchen team with general duties as required.

About You

  • Reliable, punctual and able to work efficiently.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Able to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous kitchen hand experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays is an advantage.
