El Mexicano is looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Barista & All-Rounder to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, making quality coffee, and supporting the smooth running of a busy hospitality venue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve quality coffee, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and other beverages.
• Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Prepare and serve food and drinks according to venue standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen duties when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, dining, and service areas.
• Operate the coffee machine, grinder, and other café equipment safely.
• Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
• Restock coffee, beverages, food items, and other supplies.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Work efficiently as part of a team during busy periods.

About You:

• Previous barista or hospitality experience preferred.
• Confident using a coffee machine and preparing quality coffee.
• Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused.
• Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
• Willing to assist across different areas of the venue as needed.

Pay: $27.50 – $48.41 per hour
