For more than 35 years, Tuga Pastries has been bringing a little taste of Portugal to Sydney. As a proudly family-owned bakery, we're renowned for our handcrafted pastries, artisan breads and our famous Portuguese Tarts that have built a loyal following across the city.

As we continue to grow with new stores opening in Sydney CBD and Sydney Airport, we're looking for enthusiastic Front of House Team Members to join our team.

Whether you're looking for a permanent or casual role, you'll have the opportunity to work across multiple Tuga locations, gaining experience with different teams while helping us deliver the exceptional customer service we're known for.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Front of House Team Member, you'll be the face of Tuga Pastries, creating memorable experiences for every customer by:

• Providing friendly, professional and efficient customer service
• Serving our artisan pastries, breads, coffee and café menu
• Taking customer orders and operating the point-of-sale system
• Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages (barista experience is highly regarded but not essential)
• Assisting with food preparation and presentation
• Replenishing displays and ensuring products are beautifully presented
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming café environment
• Working collaboratively with your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience

About You

You'll be someone who:

• Is currently based in Sydney with full Australian working rights
• Is willing to work across multiple Tuga locations as required
• Has previous experience in hospitality, customer service or retail
• Has a friendly, outgoing personality and enjoys working with people
• Is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team
• Is reliable, well-presented and takes pride in their work
• Is available to work flexible hours, including weekends
