We're looking for friendly, energetic and reliable Casual Sales Assistants to join our team at Bakers Delight Ferntree Plaza.

About the Role

As a Bakery Sales Assistant, you'll play an important role in creating a delightful experience for our customers every day. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Serving customers and operating the register
  • Merchandising and maintaining attractive product displays
  • Promoting products and assisting with sales
  • General cleaning and maintaining high store presentation standards
  • Working as part of a positive, supportive team

What We're Looking For

The ideal applicant will have:

  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A reliable and hardworking approach
  • The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Great attention to detail
  • A neat and professional presentation
  • Confidence handling cash and using point-of-sale systems (or willingness to learn)
  • Previous retail, hospitality or food industry experience is highly regarded but not essential

Availability

This is a casual position, and flexibility is essential.

We are looking for team members who are available to work a variety of shifts, with a strong focus on:

  • Weekends
  • After-school and evening shifts
  • Additional shifts during school holidays and busy trading periods
