Casual Café Team Member / All-Rounder

Location: Toowoomba City, QLD
Employment Type: Casual
Shifts: Approximately 1–4 shifts per week, depending on availability and business needs

Toowoomba Coffee House is looking for a reliable and energetic casual team member to join our café.

This position would suit someone who enjoys working with customers, can stay organised during busy periods and is happy to help with a variety of front-of-house and general café duties.

Your duties may include:

  • Taking customer orders and processing payments
  • Serving meals, coffee and other beverages
  • Running food and drinks to tables
  • Clearing and resetting tables
  • Washing dishes and assisting with general kitchen tasks
  • Keeping the café, service areas and workstations clean
  • Restocking cups, cutlery and other café supplies
  • Helping other team members during busy periods
  • Providing friendly and efficient customer service

What we're looking for:

We would like to hear from someone who:

  • Is dependable and arrives on time
  • Has a friendly and helpful attitude
  • Is comfortable working in a busy café environment
  • Can work efficiently and follow instructions
  • Is willing to learn different café duties
  • Works well as part of a small team
  • Takes initiative when tasks need to be completed
  • Is available for casual shifts during the week and/or weekends

Previous café, hospitality or customer service experience is helpful, but it is not essential. Training can be provided to the right person.
