Barista / All Rounder – ASLAN Coffee

Location: The Rocks, Sydney
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: In accordance with the Restaurant award

ASLAN Coffee is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista / All Rounder to join our team at The Rocks.

We're passionate about great coffee, genuine hospitality, and creating a welcoming experience for every customer. We're looking for someone who shares these values and thrives in a busy café environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve consistently high-quality coffee and beverages.
  • Provide friendly, attentive and knowledgeable customer service.
  • Take orders, operate POS and make menu recommendations.
  • Serve food and beverages, clear tables and assist with daily café operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and equipment standards.
  • Assist with opening, closing, restocking and general café duties.
  • Work collaboratively with the team during busy service periods.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous barista and hospitality experience preferred.
  • Confident espresso preparation and milk texturing skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organised under pressure.
  • Reliable, punctual and proactive team player.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to a positive workplace.
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays when required.
