☕ Café All-Rounder – Landing Playcentre Ravenhall

Location: Ravenhall, VIC
Employment Type: Part-time
Start: Immediate start available

Landing Playcentre Ravenhall is looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Café All-Rounder to join our team.

We are a busy indoor playcentre with a café, serving families, parents and children throughout the day. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can multitask in a busy environment, and is happy to help across different areas of the café and playcentre.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and serving coffee and other beverages
  • Taking customer orders and operating POS/EFTPOS
  • Preparing and serving simple food
  • Providing friendly and efficient customer service
  • Clearing tables and keeping the café area clean and tidy
  • Washing dishes and cleaning café equipment
  • Restocking food, drinks and café supplies
  • Following food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assisting the team during busy periods
  • Helping with general duties around the café and playcentre when required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers
  • Reliable, punctual and responsible
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to help with a variety of tasks
  • Well-presented and maintains good hygiene standards
  • Positive and able to stay calm during busy periods
  • Available to work weekends and/or school holidays is an advantage

Experience

Previous café, hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.

Barista experience is highly regarded, but we are also happy to consider someone with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Experience with coffee making, POS/EFTPOS, food preparation or customer service will be an advantage.
