About the Role

SSP Australia are seeking a Chef to join our team at Canberra Airport on a full-time basis.

You will be supported by a great leadership team and work collaboratively with a professional Head Chef Chef and highly experienced Culinary team. As an ideal candidate, you will be an experienced and professional team player with a can-do attitude and a commitment towards achieving outstanding results.

What are skills and experience are we looking for?

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Chef working in a similar role
• Certificate IV or higher in Commercial Cookery (Essential)
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Essential)
• Someone that is passionate about training and upskilling kitchen staff
• Knowledge in WHS Compliance and strong understanding of food safety and practices
• A high standard of food preparation, presentation and service
• A passion for food and an eagerness to learn and develop culinary skills
• Excellent time management skills, strong communication skills and collaborative work mentality
• A lively personality and positive attitude

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
