Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Chef to join our busy café team.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality café-style meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working as a chef or cook
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or equivalent qualification or 3 years' work experience in lieu of qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard
  • Assist with menu planning and specials
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering
  • Follow all food safety regulations
