Do you love working in a fast-paced café environment and delivering great customer experiences? Gloria Jean’s Coffees at Maitland Central is on the lookout for a friendly and enthusiastic Café Assistant to join our team.

This casual role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in cleanliness, and thrives in a team-focused environment.

About the Role:

As a Café Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming space for our customers. From making recommendations and upselling products to ensuring the store is spotless and inviting — your energy and attention to detail will help deliver the Gloria Jean’s experience every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver fast, friendly, and efficient customer service
  • Promote and upsell products with confidence
  • Support and represent in-store marketing campaigns
  • Communicate clearly and positively with customers and team members
  • Help maintain a clean and safe café environment
  • Use store checklists to ensure all tasks are completed during your shift
  • Follow instructions from your Shift Supervisor, Store Manager, or Company Director
  • Wear the correct, clean uniform and maintain a professional appearance

  • Willingness to learn and follow procedures
