Caffe Cherry Beans, Glenmore Park is looking for a Casual Cook.

Requirements for this role

• Flexible availability - one Weekend must.
• 1 year of relevant work experience in busy commercial kitchen

Must be available to work flexible roster Monday-Sunday from 7:00am-3:00pm.(kitchen closes at 2pm)

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items accurately and efficiently during service periods
• Maintain food presentation, portion control and quality standards
• Support menu consistency with recipes and procedures
• Assist with daily prep, stock rotation and ordering
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and safe food handling at all times
• Collaborate closely with front-of-house and management teams

Skills and experience

• Previous experience as a cafe or short-order cook (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders at once
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and mornings
