Café All Rounder (BOH and coffee experience)

Geelong area with three different locations- Immediate Start Available

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a café and high school canteen environment, with Back of house and coffee experience, and can work confidently within a small team or individually while also being capable of working autonomously.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing espresso coffee and beverages
  • Maintaining attractive and well-stocked food displays
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service
  • Assisting with daily café operations, including opening and closing duties
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety
  • Good understanding with food preparation

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a café or hospitality environment
  • Demonstrated coffee-making (barista) experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Current Food Handler Certificate
  • Current Work with Children Check
  • Reliable, well-presented and punctual
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic

What We Offer

  • Casual position between 7am and 2:30pm with some weekend work available
  • Might need to work weekend and public holiday with penalty rates
  • Stable daytime hours
