About Us

Gracious Grace Cafe is a busy cafe in the heart of Lilydale attached to the Yarra Ranges Museum and Lilydale Athenaeum Theatre offering Casual coffees & irresistible indulgent cakes to hearty all-day breakfasts & lunches.

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Barista who can work independently, deliver high-quality coffee consistently, and provide outstanding customer service.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a small, supportive team.

The Job:

  • Currently looking for the right person to do Monday, Friday, Saturday shifts with occasional extra shifts available.
  • Preparing consistently high-quality espresso-based coffees
  • Delivering friendly and professional customer service
  • Taking customer orders and processing payments
  • Assisting with food handover and takeaway orders
  • Keeping the coffee station and front-of-house clean and organised
  • Restocking supplies throughout the day
  • Opening and/or closing the café area depending on shifts
  • Working efficiently during busy service periods

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous barista experience (essential)
  • Experience with latte art is highly regarded
  • Friendly, energetic and reliable personality
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Food handling knowledge is an advantage
