Full job description

We’re looking for a Kitchen Hand to join our team at Pi & Pine Café Helensvale.

We’re looking for someone reliable, organised and happy to support the kitchen team with day-to-day prep, cleaning and general kitchen duties.

What you’ll be doing

  • Washing dishes and keeping the dish area organised
  • Assisting with basic food preparation
  • Restocking ingredients and kitchen supplies
  • Keeping kitchen benches, floors and work areas clean
  • Helping with opening and closing duties
  • Following food safety and hygiene standards
  • Supporting the kitchen team during busy service
  • Helping wherever needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly

What we’re looking for

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Clean, organised and efficient
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently
  • Good awareness of food hygiene and cleanliness
  • Team-minded and helpful
  • Previous café or commercial kitchen experience is preferred
