Sandwich Hand / Café All-Rounder

Sergio is looking for a reliable and energetic Sandwich Hand / Café All-Rounder to join our team at our Barangaroo location.

This is a Part-Time position, working Tuesday to Thursday with no weekend work.

Pay: $29–$32 per hour + super, depending on experience

About the role

  • Morning kitchen and café setup
  • Basic morning baking, including croissants, muffins, sausage rolls, cookies, and other baked items
  • Preparing and replenishing the daily food display
  • Sandwich preparation and production
  • Preparing pasta, meal boxes, salads, and other takeaway items
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workspace
  • Following food safety and hygiene standards
  • Supporting the team with daily café operations

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in a café, bakery, sandwich bar, or casual dining environment preferred
  • Basic baking and food preparation experience
  • Confident preparing sandwiches and takeaway food
  • Good attention to detail and presentation
  • Clean, organised, and efficient
  • Friendly and positive attitude
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a small team
  • Available Tuesday to Thursday
  • No weekend work required
  • Valid working rights in Australia
