FILIA is a new all-day Modern European wine bar inspired by Greek hospitality, showcasing seasonal Australian produce in a relaxed yet refined setting. Open from breakfast through to dinner, our kitchen delivers everything from fresh pastries and brunch favourites to premium seafood, handmade pasta, charcoal-grilled meats and an exceptional evening dining experience.

We're looking for experienced Chefs of all levels to join our opening team.

About the Role

Working closely with the Head Chef and Executive Chef, you'll be part of a professional kitchen committed to producing high-quality food with consistency and care.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard.

- Maintain food safety and hygiene in line with HACCP requirements.

- Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising waste.

- Work across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.

- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff.

- Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials.

About You

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality café, bistro or restaurant.

- Trade-qualified chef preferred.

- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations.

- Reliable, organised and able to perform under pressure.

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Available to work weekends and evenings as required.
