Job Description

Noosa Hospital is seeking a friendly and reliable Cafe/Catering Attendant to join our dedicated team on a casual basis. You’ll play an important part in delivering excellent customer service while helping maintain a welcoming, clean and enjoyable café environment.

This is a dual role with the successful candidate working in the cafe on Fridays, 7:30am-3pm and up to 3 days a week in the kitchen as a Catering Attendant.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Providing friendly and efficient customer service
• Preparing and serving barista-style coffee and other beverages
• Taking customer orders and processing payments
• Preparing and serving café food and light meals
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety
• Restocking displays, fridges and café supplies
• Working collaboratively with the café team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Setting up, plating and distributing patient meals and beverages
• Assisting the broader catering team with daily operations and special requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in a café or customer facing hospitality environment is essential
• Barista experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly, approachable and positive attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Available to work Friday 7:30am-3pm

Additional Information
