We want someone excited by great coffee, trending drinks, cold foams, cold-pressed juices, made-to-order sandwiches and salads, seasonal specials, and trying new ideas.

Someone who notices the little things, takes pride in presentation, builds relationships with clients, and creates a team culture that’s fun, energetic, and supportive.

You’ll be leading from the front, whether that’s jumping on the coffee machine during the morning rush, helping the team with setup and prep, chatting with regulars, or bringing new concepts to life.

THE ROLE

  • Running the day-to-day operations of a busy corporate café
  • Making consistently high-quality coffee and supporting service during peak periods
  • Keeping up with café trends and bringing fresh ideas to the space
  • Creating a welcoming environment for clients and guests
  • Building rapport with regular customers and corporate stakeholders
  • Leading, mentoring, and motivating the team (team of 4–5)
  • Maintaining high standards across coffee, food presentation, cleanliness, and service
  • Helping create a positive, fun team culture people want to be part of
  • Supporting ordering, stock control, rostering, POS, coffee machine cleaning, and coordinating servicing/maintenance

THE PERSON

  • Previous café leadership or management experience, minimum 3+ years
  • Strong barista experience is essential
  • Someone hands-on who leads by example
  • High attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and customer experience
  • Positive energy, initiative, and strong communication skills
  • Someone creative who enjoys trying new things and building concepts
  • Ability to build a strong, supportive, high-performing team
  • Strong computer skills (POS, rostering, ordering/inventory systems, and Microsoft Office)
