Full job description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages with exceptional presentation
  • An accessible and empathetic communicator who values building a positive work environment through leading, training, and mentoring a team of baristas
  • Create visually appealing café and latte art beverages
  • Clear and wipe down tables, run food and drinks to tables, and restock front displays
  • Maintain a high standard clean and organised workspace
  • Jump willingly between coffee, floor service, retail, food service, cleaning and other café duties
  • Take ownership when something goes wrong and help find a solution
  • Support opening, closing and general café operations
  • Manage inventory and place orders for supplies if required or trained

Qualification and Skills:

  • Proven experience (at least 2 years) as a Barista in a busy setting
  • Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment
  • Friendly and welcoming personality with strong people skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for the coffee industry is a must!
