Experienced Front of House – OHD| Maddingley

Location: Maddingley, VIC
Employment Type: Casual

At Oh Happy Day, we're passionate about creating memorable experiences through great food, genuine hospitality and exceptional service. We're looking for an experienced Front of House professional who can confidently run a busy cafe floor, deliver outstanding customer service and help create a smooth, efficient service every shift.

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with solid cafe or restaurant experience who can step into a busy environment with confidence and take ownership of their role.

Your Role

  • Deliver warm, genuine customer service from the moment guests arrive.
  • Confidently manage a busy café floor during service.
  • Coordinate food and drink service efficiently.
  • Build strong communication between the floor, kitchen and coffee bar.
  • Anticipate customer and team needs before being asked.
  • Maintain exceptional presentation and cleanliness throughout the venue.
  • Support the team to ensure every service runs smoothly.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a busy cafe or restaurant.
  • Someone who naturally takes initiative and enjoys being one step ahead.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Calm, confident and efficient during busy service.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Reliable, punctual and committed to high standards.
  • Weekend availability is essential.
