Our cafes are a Melbourne staple when it comes to French quality products with over 30 years history around our beautiful cakes, scrumptious pastries and mouth watering sandwiches and croques.

We have a new exciting opportunity for an experienced Food and Beverage attendant in our booming Albert Park location.

Responsibilities

As a cafe attendant at Laurent Bakery, you will work collaboratively with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure stores and company objectives are achieved.

You will be trained to work across multiple stations in our café, you will support the team effort to achieve high standards in customer service, product quality and luxury café experience.

The role will involve learning to be a cafe all-rounder by rotating through stations such as food processing, floor service providing an amazing customer experience, coffee making and working as a team to maintain hygiene, cleanliness and French luxury standards.

What you will bring

• High personal standards in providing superior customer service

• Weekend, after school (closing shifts) and public holiday work will be required

• Previous experience in hospitality, retail is an advantage

• Previous barista experience is also an advantage

• Juniors are welcome to apply - where applicable Junior Award rates of pay will apply, as indicated in the hourly rate range showing Junior to Adult casual rates
