We are seeking a skilled and experienced barista with a passion for mixology to join our dynamic team. As a Barista you will be responsible for crafting a diverse range of high-quality coffee, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a vibrant and inviting atmosphere in our establishment.

Key Responsibilities

Barista Duties (Primary Focus):

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, with a focus on quality and consistency.
• Operate, clean, and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
• Create and develop new beverage offerings, including seasonal specials.
• Ensure the coffee station and surrounding areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Assist in ordering and managing inventory of coffee-related supplies.

Bartender Duties:

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for customers at the bar, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to recipes.
• Maintain knowledge of the bar menu, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, and provide recommendations to customers.
• Perform basic bartending duties such as cutting garnishes, restocking supplies, and cleaning the bar area.
• Uphold responsible service of alcohol practices and comply with licensing laws.

Customer Service:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Build relationships with regular patrons, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
• Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth café and bar operations.
• Provide support during busy shifts by assisting in other areas of the café or bar as required.
• Contribute to staff meetings and collaborate on new ideas for improving operations and offerings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a barista and/or bartender, with a focus on barista duties.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art skills (preferred).
• Familiarity with basic bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and bar equipment.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $43.00 per hour
