We’re on the hunt for enthusiastic Team Member Barista to join our crew at Tea Republic Mascot. More than just a staff member - You’ll be the face of our brand, an ambassador – Crafting fresh drinks, creating feel-good vibes and helping us build a loyal tea-loving community. Delivering exceptional customer service, and helping create a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors. You’ll be responsible for preparing beverages to our quality standard, maintaining a clean workspace and supporting your team to ensure smooth daily operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with a friendly warm positive attitude
  • Operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately
  • Preparing toppings and using brewing machine to prepare tea base
  • Shaking beverages to recipe standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
  • Assist with stock replenishment, inventory control, and back-of-house duties
  • Uphold hygiene and food safety standards at all times
  • Support the team in ensuring smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking for

  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Demonstrate clear communication skills and a love for customer interaction
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and reliable team player
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance suitable for a customer-facing role
  • Demonstrate a proactive, can do attitude taking initiative to improve customer experience and team performance
  • Be available to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Barista or hospitality experience is a bonus but not essential
  • Basic food handling knowledge or certification (preferred)
  • Speaking fluent in a second language is a plus
