Cafe Team Member (Casual)

Join the team at Toowoomba Coffee House!

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Casual Cafe Team Member to join our growing café. If you enjoy working in a busy environment, meeting people and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

This is a casual position with short shifts, making it ideal for someone looking for flexible work.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Welcoming customers with friendly service
  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Using the POS system to process sales
  • Serving meals and beverages
  • Keeping dining areas clean and organised
  • Washing dishes and assisting with general kitchen duties
  • Maintaining cleanliness throughout the café
  • Supporting other team members during busy periods

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a positive attitude and enjoys customer service
  • Is dependable and arrives on time
  • Works well in a busy team environment
  • Is willing to learn and take initiative
  • Has hospitality or café experience (preferred but not required)
  • Has barista experience (an advantage, but full training is available)
