Key Responsibilities

• Dishwashing: Operate commercial dishwashers and hand-wash delicate cafe glassware and espresso cups.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Sweep and mop floors, empty trash bins, and wipe down food prep surfaces.
• Light Food Prep: Wash, peel, and chop ingredients for salads, sandwiches, and cafe lunch menus.
• Hygiene Compliance: Follow cafe food safety practices and chemical handling guidelines strictly.

Skills and Requirements

• Fast Pace: Ability to work quickly and efficiently during morning and lunch rush hours.
• Physical Fitness: Capacity to stand for long periods and lift heavy milk crates or coffee bags.
• Teamwork: Good communication skills to coordinate smoothly with front-of-house baristas.
• Experience: Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but motivated beginners are welcome.
