Located in Melbourne's Southgate precinct, cups n cones serves premium gelato, desserts, coffee, and cold beverages to a diverse range of customers every day. We're seeking team members who are eager to learn, work hard, and contribute to a positive team culture.

About the Role

As a Part-Time Team Member, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the store. No two shifts are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to develop a broad range of customer service and hospitality skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving gelato, frozen desserts, and beverages
• Preparing and serving espresso-based coffee and café-style drinks
• Delivering friendly and professional customer service
• Operating the point-of-sale system and handling transactions
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures
• Restocking products and assisting with inventory management
• Supporting fellow team members during busy trading periods
• Assisting with opening and closing procedures as required

About You

Skills & Experience

The following experience is highly regarded but not essential:

• Previous experience in fast food, hospitality, retail, or customer service
• Experience operating a commercial coffee machine
• Basic barista skills, including milk texturing and coffee preparation
• Cash handling and POS experience
• Food preparation or food handling experience

Full training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Pay: Award rates under the Fast Food Industry Award.
