Job Summary

The Last Slice (TLS) is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Barista to join our team. We're seeking someone who is passionate about coffee, enjoys providing excellent customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced café environment.

Weekend availability is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly attitude.
  • Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, coffee station, and dining area.
  • Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of barista experience (non-negotiable — applicants without this will not be considered)
  • Must live within 10km of Sydney Olympic Park
  • Must be available to work weekends.
  • Ability to produce consistent, high-quality coffee.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and public holidays.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
