Full job description

We are an award winning artisan gluten-free bakery with a Cafe in Alexandria and four other locations. Our very busy HACCP certified business trades 7 days a week for take away, online orders, deliveries, catering, wholesale and more. We are accredited by Coeliac Australia with a range of innovative premium sweet and savoury products are hand-made with fresh seasonal ingredients. With an immediate start, we are looking for a strong Barista/All rounder to join our well established gluten-free bakery in Alexandria

*Requirements & experience*

* Seeking an energetic team member with at least 3 years experience working as a barista at a cafe/restaurant/bakery. This role is working 3 days a week: Saturday 10:15am-3:00pm, Sunday 7:00am-2:00pm and Monday 6:00am-3:30pm (working alone on Mondays). Must be able to commit to all 3 shifts.

* You care about product quality, have a strong service experience in food & beverage, comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment, place focus on consistency in all you do and enjoy a bit of fun with the team and customers.

* Work rights for Australia required to allow you to work full-time legally for at least 12 months in Australia. We ask for a minimum 6 month commitment.

*Tasks & responsibilities*

* Ability to work under pressure, hard working & enthusiastic attitude, eye for detail and cleanliness.

* You will be working alone on weekdays on shift, weekends you will have an another staff member. The venue operates Monday to Sunday, opening at 7am Mon-Sat and 8am Sun.

* Comfortable with being hands on and fast at making delicious coffees, food prep, packing click and collect orders, handling customer queries/feedback, communicating stock levels and enjoys interacting with our loyal customers.
