We are seeking a highly skilled Barista / All Rounder to join our team in Liverpool. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is passionate about the food and beverage industry and enjoys working with people.

You will play a key role in our energetic team of food and beverage enthusiasts who are driven to provide excellent customer service. You’ll have the opportunity to be part of a fun atmosphere where both customers and employees have a great experience that’s welcoming and engaging.

Barista responsibilities and duties:

• Make and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages
• Good communication skills
• Speak and interact with both new and regular customers
• Promote Piccolo Me Loyalty program
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Adhere to recipe and presentation standards for food and beverage items -- coffees with latte art
• Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
• Contribute to a positive team environment
• Barista qualifications and skills, can handle 6 - 8 kilos of coffees on shift
• POS and cash handling
• Food handling and serving

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Right attitude – high energy levels, hardworking, reliable, honest, passionate, always welcoming and smiling to customers
• Ability to work as part of a positive and close knit team
• Well presented, communication skills and time management skills
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred
• Immaculate personal presentation
• Can speak English fluently and must be in Australia for at least 12 months
• Experienced and comfortable working busy shifts

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $33.00 per hour
