Full job description

Café Lurline is looking for an experienced and reliable Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our team in Katoomba.

We’re looking for someone who is confident working in a busy café environment, has great customer service skills, and is happy to help across different areas of the café when needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing consistently high-quality coffee and other beverages
  • Taking customer orders and operating the POS
  • Providing friendly and efficient customer service
  • Running food and drinks to tables
  • Clearing and resetting tables
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the café, coffee station and service areas
  • Supporting the team with general café duties as required

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous barista and/or café experience preferred
  • Confident making a range of espresso-based coffees
  • Able to work efficiently during busy periods
  • Friendly, reliable and well presented
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Available for weekday and weekend shifts
  • Reliable transport or ability to get to Katoomba for scheduled shifts
