To be considered, you must

• Be available Monday to Sunday.
• Be available during school hours during school weeks.
• Be willing to be trained both Back of House and Front of House.
• Be willing to work at Stafford and Mitchelton location when required.
• Be seeking long-term employment (longer than 12 months).
• Be able to work more than 24 hours per week when required.
• Complete all screening questions when you apply.
• Be available to with a rotating 7-day roster from open to close. Especially on Weekends and Public Holidays.

What is the role?

• This is a casual position attracting junior rates of pay in accordance with our industry award.
• You will be offered training in aspects of the café business.
• There may be up to 38 hours per a week available for the right candidate.
• Opportunity to be a Manager, a Barista or a Short Order Cook in future for the right candidate.

What skills, knowledge and attitude do I need?

Previous hospitality experience is not necessary as we will teach you The Coffee Club way on how to provide Good Food, Great Service and make Excellent Coffee.

We would also like you to be:

• Well presented, energetic & motivated.
• Eager to learn all aspects of café business and willing to be trained into future roles such as customer service, kitchen operations, cash handling, barista operations, food hygiene and much more.
• Living locally or live within a reasonable distance from the store with access to public transport that accommodates the store hours.
• Positive, proactive individual with outstanding communication skills.
• Available to fill shift on short notice.
• Able to work at all locations, Chermside, Stafford and Brookside
• Self-starter who can maintain constant attention to detail to ensure 'The Coffee Club' remains the answer to the question.....

Store trading hours (Subject to Change)

• Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Thursday 8:00am to 9:00pm
• Sunday 8:30am to 4:00pm

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $16.09 – $38.61 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 38.0 per week
