EXPERIENCED CASUAL TEA-BARISTA

Gotcha Fresh Tea – Karrinyup Shopping Centre

Gotcha Fresh Tea Karrinyup is looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable Tea-Barista to join our team.

We're looking for someone with previous hospitality, café, food service or customer service experience who can hit the ground running, work confidently in a fast-paced environment and learn our products, systems and procedures quickly.

!! IMPORTANT AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENT !!

This role requires a minimum availability of 3 days between Monday and Friday. 9.30am to 6pm.

If you are unable to meet this requirement, please do not apply.

Applicants with limited weekday availability may not be suitable.

Weekend availability will also be highly regarded, particularly during busy trading periods.

As Gotcha Fresh Tea operates during school holidays, public holidays and the Christmas/New Year period, availability to work during these periods is an important part of the role.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and serve bubble tea and other menu items
  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Operate POS systems and process payments
  • Maintain store cleanliness and presentation
  • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Complete basic food preparation and stock replenishment
  • Assist with stocktakes and inventory
  • Promote GOTCHA products, promotions and special offers
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Follow GOTCHA recipes, systems and procedures
  • Perform any other lawful duties as reasonably directed

What We're Looking For

  • Previous hospitality, café, food service or customer service experience
  • Confident working in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Friendly and professional communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to learn new systems and procedures quickly
  • Minimum availability of 3 days Monday–Friday
  • Weekend availability is highly regarded

Pay Rate

Pay rates are in accordance with the Fast Food Industry Award 2020 and vary based on age, classification and applicable penalty rates.

Eligibility

  • Must have the legal right to work in Australia.

Pay: Up to $26.55 per hour

  • This role requires a minimum commitment of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, between 9:30am and 6:00pm. Can you commit to working at least 3 days within these hours?
