FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF – MAKE HOSPITALITY MATTER

Casual | BaptistCare Peninsula View| Frankston South | Aged Care Hospitality | $29.78/hr + 25% Casual Loading + NFP Benefits

You know great service is about more than taking orders and clearing plates. It’s about creating moments people remember.

At BaptistCare, mealtimes are the highlight of the day for many residents — and as part of our Front of House team, you’ll be the reason they smile, feel welcome, and enjoy every dining experience.

If you’ve worked in cafés, restaurants, hotels, bars, or events and want to use your hospitality skills in a role with real purpose, this could be your next move.

WHY HOSPITALITY STAFF LOVE THIS ROLE

Bring your customer service skills into a more rewarding environment.

Instead of late-night finishes and high-pressure venues, enjoy meaningful shifts where relationships matter and every interaction makes a difference.

WHAT WE OFFER

$29.78 per hour + 25% casual loading.

Not-for-profit salary packaging up to $18,550 — more take-home pay without needing a pay rise.

Flexible casual shifts across a 7-day roster.

Ongoing training and career development opportunities.

Supportive team culture with genuine purpose.

Employee Assistance Program — free, confidential wellbeing support.

Part of a trusted national organisation supporting 70,000+ Australians.

THE ROLE

Think of this as hospitality with heart.

You’ll help deliver an enjoyable dining experience while working closely with residents and the catering team in a welcoming aged care environment.

Providing warm, professional meal service in dining rooms and resident rooms

Creating a friendly, café-style mealtime atmosphere that residents look forward to

Assisting with light food prep and service set-up

Supporting functions, celebrations, and special events

Following food safety and hygiene standards

Working as part of a fast-paced, supportive hospitality team

Building genuine connections with residents through everyday service moments

ABOUT YOU

You’re someone who enjoys people, thrives in service, and knows how to make guests feel welcome.

You might come from:
Restaurant or café front of house

Hotel food & beverage

Events and functions

Customer service or retail hospitality

What you’ll need:
Food Handling & Hygiene Certificate (required)

Availability for shifts across a rotating 7-day roster (mandatory)

Friendly attitude and strong communication skills

Reliable, team-focused approach

National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Proof of working rights in Australia

Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role

WHY MAKE THE MOVE?

Hospitality skills are highly transferable — but here, your service means more.

You’ll still enjoy teamwork, busy shifts, and guest interaction — but in a role where people genuinely appreciate what you do every day.
