About the role

We're seeking a passionate experienced Barista to join our vibrant team at Cafe All Sorts in Kirra Beach near Gold Coast Airport. In this casual role/ part-time role, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional coffee and customer service in our busy cafe. With a focus on hospitality and attention to detail, you'll play a key part in creating an inviting atmosphere for our patrons.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and serving high-quality espresso-based beverages and other cafe items to our customers
  • Providing friendly and attentive customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Preparing and serving beverages when required
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assisting with general cafe duties, such as drinks and food preparation, inventory management, and cash handling
  • Assist with setting up for events and conferences from time to time.
  • Contributing to a positive team dynamic and supporting your colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 year experience as a Barista or in a similar cafe
  • Excellent coffee-making skills and knowledge of coffee equipment and techniques
  • An interest in health and wellness and knowledge of special dietary requirements
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  • A friendly, approachable personality and a passion for the hospitality industry
