Cafe All-Rounder / Barista – Haven Eatery, Marrickville
Join the team at Haven Eatery!
We are a family-owned café in Marrickville looking for an experienced and reliable Cafe All-Rounder / Barista to work Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.
We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering great customer service, and can consistently make excellent coffee during busy service periods.
About the Role
As a Cafe All-Rounder, you'll be involved in all aspects of café operations, including:
- Making high-quality espresso coffee and other beverages
- Taking customer orders and providing friendly service
- Operating the POS and handling payments
- Food running and table service
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Supporting the team wherever needed during busy periods
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a café
- Strong barista skills and confidence working independently on a coffee machine
- Ability to handle busy morning and lunch rushes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
