Location: Mona Vale – Sydney
Positions Available: Barista (Full-Time / Part-Time / Casual) & Team Leader

For in excess of 30 years, Pattison’s Patisserie has been a beloved French-inspired destination, known for refined craftsmanship, premium ingredients, and warm, attentive service.

Barista

Key Responsibilities

  • Expertly operate, maintain, and calibrate coffee machines and grinders
  • Dial in blends and single-origin coffees to ensure exceptional consistency and flavour
  • Deliver refined, warm, and engaging customer service
  • Process sales transactions and handle EFTPOS accurately
  • Share product knowledge confidently and authentically
  • Monitor stock levels and uphold premium product presentation standards
  • Execute opening and closing procedures with precision

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a high-volume café or fresh food environment
  • Professionally trained barista with strong technical coffee knowledge
  • Confident in latte art and milk texturing
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
  • Available to work 25–38 hours per week
  • Well-presented, reliable, and passionate about hospitality

Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and support a high-performing café team
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service execution
  • Manage stock control and inventory systems efficiently
  • Handle customer feedback with professionalism and care
  • Maintain exceptional service and coffee standards at all times
  • Perform barista duties (preferred but not essential)

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Team Leader in a fast-paced café
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to remain composed under pressure
  • Sound operational and organisational skills
  • Barista expertise (including latte art) highly regarded
  • Flexible availability, including weekends
  • Australian resident with full working rights
  • Deep passion for customer service, food, beverages, and specialty coffee
