The Opportunity

Fernbank Retirement Living is a well established Upper North Shore community known for its peaceful garden setting, welcoming residents and supportive culture. As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you'll enjoy working in a friendly hospitality environment to prepare and deliver high-quality meals and service to the residents. You'll be a great communicator with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service, and enjoy supporting the residents whilst providing a happy social environment. This is a Permanent Part Time position working on a fortnightly roster:

Week 1: Monday (11am-3pm); Tuesday (11am-3pm); Wednesday (11am-8pm); Saturday (11am-8pm) and Sunday (11am-3pm)

Week 2: Monday (11am-3pm); Tuesday (11am-3pm) and Wednesday (11am-8pm)

What we offer

  • (Monday-Friday) $29.98/hr + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation
  • (Saturday) $44.97/hr + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation
  • (Sunday) $52.47/hr + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation

You will

  • Provide a high level of Customer Service to restaurant guests
  • Assist with the delivery, serving and payment of food & beverages
  • Assist in the kitchen with light kitchen preparation
  • Assist with set-up, pack-down and cleaning post service
  • Follow all kitchen and restaurant hygiene practices (which will include general cleaning and washing up)
What you'll bring

  • Full working rights (no working holiday visas)
  • Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!)
  • Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
