Fernbank Retirement Living is a well established Upper North Shore community known for its peaceful garden setting, welcoming residents and supportive culture. With quality amenities and a strong sense of belonging, Fernbank is a rewarding place to build a meaningful career in retirement living. As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you'll enjoy working in a friendly hospitality environment to prepare and deliver high-quality meals and service to the residents. You'll be a great communicator with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service, and enjoy supporting the residents whilst providing a happy social environment. If you have experience in Food & Beverage, Kitchenhand, Cook, Chef or any hospitality experience - join us!
This is a Permanent Part Time position working on a fortnightly roster:
Week 1: Monday (11am-3pm); Tuesday (11am-3pm); Wednesday (11am-8pm); Saturday (11am-8pm) and Sunday (11am-3pm)
Week 2: Monday (11am-3pm); Tuesday (11am-3pm) and Wednesday (11am-8pm)

- (Sunday) $52.47/hr + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation

- Provide a high level of Customer Service to restaurant guests
- Assist with the delivery, serving and payment of food & beverages
- Assist in the kitchen with light kitchen preparation
- Assist with set-up, pack-down and cleaning post service
- Follow all kitchen and restaurant hygiene practices (which will include general cleaning and washing up)
- A friendly and warm persona with experience in cafes, kitchens, restaurants or any other customer service environment (required)
- Full working rights (no working holiday visas)
- Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!)
- Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
