About the position
Our Wests Nelson Bay site is currently seeking a casual Bistro Server / Food Court Waitperson to join the team. This casual opportunity is responsible and key to our front of house catering operations across our food outlets, and will assist with functions and events across the property. Providing outstanding customer service, daily activities will include:

  • Provide friendly and efficient service to members and guests
  • Assist with clearing and cleaning of tables
  • Operating and balancing of tills
  • Assist with food preparation
  • Barista duties
  • Ensuring hygiene and safe food handling practices are followed

This position will require availability to work on Friday nights, weekends as well as good availability through the week. Our seasonal peaks run through summer, public holiday and school holiday periods, availability during seasonal peaks is essential.

About you
You are someone who can work under pressure while at all times ensuring that our current high standards are met. Ideally you will have previous experience in a café or fast food environment. Along with good work ethics, you will have the ability to work in a team environment and excellent interpersonal skills. Your excellent customer service skills and problem solving ability will have you thriving in this position.
