Barista / All-Rounder – Sea Shells Cafe and Restaurant

About the Role

Sea Shells Cafe and Restaurant is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Barista / All-Rounder to join our team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with customers, preparing coffee and supporting the team across front-of-house and general cafe duties.

Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages.
• Operate and maintain the coffee machine and coffee station.
• Take customer orders and process payments.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Serve food and beverages to customers.
• Assist with clearing and cleaning tables.
• Keep the cafe, service areas and coffee station clean and organised.
• Assist with basic food preparation when required.
• Support the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy periods.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

About You

• Previous barista or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.
• Basic coffee knowledge is an advantage, but training will be provided.
• Friendly and confident communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy environment.
• Willing to learn and assist with different cafe duties.

Pay: $26.44 – $30.00 per hour
