Position Available: Junior Front of House / Junior All-rounder
Location: Pause Button Cafe, Coomera QLD
Employment Type: Casual
Main Shifts: Weekend shifts and school holiday shifts

Pause Button Cafe is looking for a friendly and reliable Junior Front of House / Junior All-rounder to join our team.

This position is perfect for someone who is still studying, looking for their first job, or wanting to gain experience in a cafe environment. The role will mainly focus on helping cover weekend shifts and school holiday shifts.

The work will be simple and suitable for a junior team member. You will be helping with basic front-of-house tasks, supporting the team during service, keeping the cafe clean and organised, and learning how a cafe operates day to day.

We already have a few junior staff in our team, and they are doing a great job. You will be working alongside other young team members, as well as experienced staff who can guide, support and teach you step by step.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with basic front-of-house duties
Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner
Clear tables and keep the dining area clean and tidy
Help refill water, napkins, takeaway items and other supplies
Assist with running food and clearing plates
Support the team during busy service periods
Learn basic cafe procedures and good work habits
Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming cafe environment

We are looking for someone who:

Can work weekend shifts
Is available during school holidays
Is friendly, polite and willing to learn
Is reliable, punctual and responsible
Can follow instructions and ask questions when unsure
Has a positive attitude and team spirit
Is willing to help others and support the team
Does not need much experience, but must have the right attitude

This role is suitable for someone who:
