Casual Retail Assistant
Casual Retail Assistant – Coffee & Quick Service
Brisbane Bread Co is looking for reliable, enthusiastic Casual Retail Assistants to join our team across The Gap and New Farm.
The role involves customer service, coffee making, food preparation and quick-service retail in a busy café and bakery environment.
Locations and hours
The Gap
Monday to Sunday
6:00am–2:00pm, with later finishes as the soccer season changes.
New Farm – two locations
Shop 1: 5:30am–5:00pm
Shop 2: 5:00am–7:30pm
Hours and flexibility
For the right candidate with strong experience, availability and a willingness to work, there is the opportunity to secure approximately 30 hours per week.
This position could also suit a university student looking for casual work, with the opportunity to split the available hours across two roles.
What we're looking for
Experience in coffee making and fast-paced customer service is preferred.
Reliable, punctual and committed to their shifts.
Good availability, including mornings and weekends.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Friendly, energetic and willing to learn.
Flexible to work across our locations when required.
Reliability and availability are essential for this role. We are looking for people who are committed to their roster and keen to become part of a supportive team.
