About the Role
CMV Truck & Bus is seeking a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Café Attendant to join our team on a casual basis, working Fridays in our in-house café at our state-of-the-art Derrimut facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern and welcoming environment where you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for employees, customers and visitors. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent service, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every shift. To be successful in this role, you'll be flexible, adaptable and a strong team player, willing to support your colleagues and contribute to a collaborative and professional workplace culture.
What you will be doing

• preparing and serving food and drinks for consumption
• taking customers' food orders
• operating cash registers, accepting payments and preparing sales invoices
• washing dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils
• cleaning cafe equipment as required
• help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas
• participating in stocktakes and assisting in putting away new stock

We are looking for someone who has……

• Experience working in a similar role (preferred)
• POS system experience (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude
• High level of personal presentation and grooming
• Ability to work under pressure
• Possess high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Understanding of food safety requirements
