About the Role:

The Environmental Cleaning Services team is responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services across Canberra Hospital and community-based facilities. The service is essential to the effective operation of the health service by ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming environments that support clinical operations and contribute to a positive experience for everyone who uses our facilities.

As a Help Desk Cleaning Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining clean, hygienic, and safe environments across CHS facilities. This is achieved through the effective coordination, allocation, and monitoring of general and specialist cleaning tasks in line with CHS processes and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will need to be organised, have good communication skills, understand the Work Health and Safety requirements of the role, be adaptable and flexible, and understand the principles of patient confidentiality and privacy.
