Junior Bakery Retail Sales Assistant - Job Description

JOB TITLE: Junior Bakery Retail Sales Assistant - Level 1

JOB TYPE: Casual - must be available weekdays & weekends

LOCATION: Prices Fresh Bakery, Allenby Gardens - 544 Port Road Allenby Gardens SA 5009

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ensure presentation of shop is clean and presentable
  • rotate & replenish stock in cake cabinets, sandwich bar & drinks fridge
  • slice & bag bread products
  • slice sandwich bar products as required
  • ensure pie warmer is stocked
  • take customer orders at café & drive-thru registers, answer customer inquiries about products & collect payments via cash & eftpos
  • prepare & serve sandwiches, baps, rolls & hot food to customers
  • monitor UberEats tablet & prepare customer orders as required
  • prepare & serve coffee & other hot drinks
  • collect dirty dishes from café area & stack into dishwasher for cleaning
  • restock fridges & freezers as required
  • replenish stock of other items
  • sweep & mop floors
  • clean & sanitise food preparation areas, equipment, tables & chairs
  • write catering orders into diary
  • general cleaning tasks as required
  • maintain a clean & safe workplace
  • other tasks as directed
