Join MEGT as a Carpentry Apprentice!

Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking to build a career in the Building and Construction Industry? MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our host employers for a Carpentry Apprenticeship working across various locations throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area.

About the role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist with installing commercial walls, ceilings, and aluminum partitions.
  • Learn to measure, cut, and install building materials using hand and power tools.
  • Work alongside experienced tradespeople on commercial projects across Adelaide.
  • Assist with hanging doors and completing commercial fit-out tasks.
  • Maintain a safe and organised worksite while developing your carpentry skills.

What we're looking for - Skills & Experience

  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport is essential
  • Previous construction industry experience, knowledge, or a Certificate II in Construction is highly regarded
  • Punctual, reliable, and energetic with a strong work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
